moviniti sequence
The cloud software for sequencing in production logistics
We are the experts for just-in-sequence supply! Our software solution supports logistics service providers (3PL), suppliers (4PL), and manufacturing companies that need goods synchronized to production—reliable, end-to-end integrable, easy and intuitive to use, and cost-efficient, both in day-to-day operations and for expansions.
How just-in-sequence works
Transfer of production planning
The manufacturing company (e.g., an OEM) defines the serial production sequence of components for an end product and transfers the data to the supplier or logistics service provider.
Processing & creation of orders
Based on the received data and the sequencing strategy, orders for fulfillment in the warehouse are generated. The system instructs the warehouse operator exactly in which order each part must be picked.
Delivery of components JIS & JIT
Result of warehouse processing: Each part is in the required sequence in the target container. Subsequent loading planning ensures that the picked racks are available just-in-time at the production line.

Mapping of all essential JIS functionalities
- Automatic detection of label standards (VDA, GALIA)
- Goods receipt of pre-sequenced containers possible
- Maintenance and validation of permitted article indices
- Configuration of individual labels and lists
- Various sequencing strategies (reverse order, route-optimized, with and without bins in the sequencing rack, etc.)
- Optional scans can be activated for increased security
- Warning messages when receiving implausible call-offs
- Secure process guidance during order picking
- JIS and JIT are also ensured during outbound loading
Consistent assurance of the correct sequence
Simple configuration via web, execution of warehouse orders via scanner
Dashboard & KPIs
Lead Time in Real Time
- Display of lead time to production on the dashboard
- Calculation of lead time based on transmitted production dates/SWET or the number of fully picked vehicles
- Consideration of odometer value in the calculation
- Export of picks and orders to Excel
Web Area
Easy configuration of sequence zones
- Clear master data management of part families and storage areas
- Configuration of sequence zones and scan steps
- Storing customer-specific sequence lists
- Transparent presentation of forecast data and sequence orders
- Control of warehouse orders (e.g., putaway, replenishment)
Mobile Scanner App
Secure processing via scanner
- Process-driven handling of all
warehouse orders – from goods receipt to loading - Maximum error prevention thanks to intuitive process guidance and validation by scanning
- Logging of every pick in real time
- Sequence orders must be executed in the specified order
Implementation Process
Short lead times & high demands on secure processes –
we know the challenges of logistics after winning a tender.
Preparation and configuration (1-2 weeks)
The first step of the implementation includes setting up the moviniti tenant, initial system and process configuration, entering master data, and setting up a test system. In parallel to other tasks, the logistics areas can already begin to be prepared.
Specification of interfaces & processes (2-4 weeks)
Based on the specification of data exchange (e.g. according to VDA 4913 for ASN or VDA 4984, Odette 94A, EDIACUM (DESADV)) or individual interfaces, the mapping to moviniti standard format is created as well as the requirements for the processes defined. The exact requirements are already discussed during the offer phase, and afterwards the details are developed.
Implementation & test (2-3 weeks)
The configurations are finalized in the system and validated through various tests in a real environment (in the warehouse or using our demo warehouse). If new functions or process steps are required, the testing phase is extended until the new functions are completed.
Go-Live & Hypercare (1 week)
After successful acceptance, the live system is configured and the moviniti app is installed on the scanners. At the same time, warehouse personnel are trained and inventory data is either imported or recorded as part of an inventory count. The duration of intensive support during the Hypercare phase is mutually agreed upon.
Total duration: 6-10 weeks
The total duration of the implementation depends on how clearly the interfaces are specified and the logistics processes are defined.
Low start-up costs & licenses
One-time start-up costs
Costs vary depending on project size. Thanks to its modular structure, configurable setup, and easy interface integration, moviniti is on average about 10% cheaper than comparable products.
- Project management & kick-off
- Specification of interfaces and processes
- Training for users & key users
- Acceptance / integration testing
- Individually agreed Hypercare support after go-live
individual per project
on average between €30,000 - €50,000
Monthly cloud license
The monthly license fees are fairly based on the per-use principle according to actual warehouse volume (goods receipts & picks in sequencing). The cloud license includes the following:
- Unlimited server performance
- Automatic scaling & maintenance
- Continuous updates from moviniti with new features
- Technical maintenance of the codebase & infrastructure
- Support during business hours 8 am - 5 pm
- Unlimited number of users
€475 + tiered price per pick
