moviniti sequence

The contract logistics software for production logistics

We are the experts in just-in-sequence supply! Our software solution supports logistics service providers (3PL), suppliers (4PL), and manufacturing companies that require goods synchronized with production—reliable, end-to-end integratable, easy and intuitive to use, and cost-efficient both during operation and for future expansions.

Just‑in‑Sequence Software für Logistik mit Web‑Übersicht und mobilem Scanprozess zur sequenzierten Auftragsbearbeitung

How just-in-sequence works

Transmission of production planning

The manufacturing company (e.g., an OEM) defines the serial production sequence of components for an end product and transmits the data to the supplier or logistics service provider.

Processing & creation of orders

Based on the received data and the configured sequencing strategy, orders for warehouse processing are created. The system tells the warehouse staff exactly in which order each part must be picked.

Delivery of components JIS & JIT

Result from warehouse processing: each part is in the required sequence in the target container. The subsequent loading plan ensures that the picked racks are provided just-in-time at production.

Depiction of all key JIS functions

Constant assurance of the correct sequence

Easy web configuration, execution of warehouse orders via scanner

Dashboard & KPIs

Lead time in real time

  • Display of production lead time on the dashboard
  • Calculation of lead time based on transmitted production dates/SWET or the number of fully picked vehicles
  • Consideration of odometer value in calculation
  • Export of picks and orders to Excel
Web Area

Easy configuration of sequence areas

  • Clear master data management for part families and warehouse areas
  • Configuration of sequence areas and scan steps
  • Storage of customer-specific sequence lists
  • Transparent display of forecast data and sequence orders
  • Control of warehouse orders (e.g. storage, replenishment)
Mobile Scanner App

Secure processing via scanner

  • Process-guided handling of all
warehouse orders – from goods receipt to loading
  • Maximum error prevention through intuitive process guidance and validation by scanning
  • Logging of each pick in real time
  • Sequence orders must be executed in the specified order

Success Stories

moviniti sequence is used in a wide variety of scenarios

Implementation Process

Short lead times & high demands on secure processes
we know the challenges of logistics after winning a tender.

We guide you through four clearly defined steps to productive operation and see ourselves as a sparring partner in logistics planning. Because only when logistics and IT work hand in hand do solutions emerge that really work in everyday life.

Preparation and configuration (1-2 weeks)

The first implementation step includes setting up the moviniti client, temporary configuration of the system and processes, entering master data, and setting up a test system. In parallel with other tasks, the acquisition of logistics areas can be started.

Specification of interfaces & processes (2-4 weeks)

Based on the specification of data exchange (e.g. according to VDA 4913 for ASN or VDA 4984, Odette 94A, EDIACUM (DESADV)) or individual interfaces, the mapping into the moviniti standard format is created and the requirements for the processes are defined. The exact requirements are discussed as early as the quotation phase and then detailed further.

Implementation & testing (2-3 weeks)

Configurations are finalized in the system and validated in various tests in a real environment (in the warehouse or with the help of our demo warehouse). If new functions or process steps are required, the testing phase will be extended until the new functions are completed.

Go-Live & Hypercare (1 week)

After successful acceptance, the live system is configured and the moviniti app is installed on the scanners. At the same time, warehouse staff are trained and inventory data is either imported or recorded as part of a stocktaking. The duration of intensive support during the hypercare phase is jointly determined.

Total duration: 6-10 weeks

The total duration of implementation depends on how clearly the interfaces are specified and the logistics processes are defined.

Low start-up costs & licenses

Transparent structure: one-time implementation costs, monthly licenses including server services scaled according to warehouse volume – plus optional support packages.

One-time start-up costs

Costs vary depending on the size of the project. Thanks to its modular structure, configurable setup, and easy interface integration, moviniti is on average around 10% cheaper than comparable products.

individual by project

on average between €30,000 - €50,000

Monthly cloud license

The monthly license fees are fairly based on the pay-per-use principle and depend on the actual warehouse volume (goods receipts & picks in sequencing); the cloud license includes the following:

475 € + tiered price per pick

monthly
